Ultra-compact design

Wearability is the single greatest barrier to bringing EEG into daily life. meldworks has spent more than a decade developing proprietary miniaturization and mounting technology that fits a high-precision EEG sensor into the extremely limited space of the ear.

Conventional research-grade EEG devices have always required equipment that covers the entire head. HUSH overturns that premise with a deeply compact design. Daily wearability is the starting point for every choice we make.

Noise & signal processing

The hardest part of EEG measurement in everyday environments is noise. Walking, facial movement, eye movement, ambient electromagnetic fields, muscle activity — all mix in with the brainwave signal and have long made out-of-lab measurement difficult.

meldworks develops proprietary noise-removal algorithms and signal processing pipelines built for real-world conditions. Extracting clean brainwave signals is the prerequisite for any meaningful use of the data.

Real-time analysis platform

We are building a real-time analysis platform that converts measured brainwave data into meaningful information immediately. Estimating cognitive states such as focus, relaxation, arousal, and fatigue with low latency makes immediate feedback to the user possible.

Designed with app and software integration in mind, the platform turns brainwave data into "usable information" on the spot.

Data utilization & behavior change

Our ultimate goal is not simply to visualize brainwave data. By learning each individual's accumulated brainwave patterns, we aim to provide feedback for habits, behavior, and condition management — personalized to each user.

How to interpret highly individual brainwave data and translate it into behavior change — building this data-utilization foundation is the next frontier we are pursuing.
